Join artist Alia Bensliman for an exploration of sensory experiences inspired by the exhibition Faig Ahmed: Textiles of Consciousness.
The artist Faig Ahmed, whose work is currently on view at Art@Bainbridge, reimagines traditional textiles, taking inspiration from digital aesthetics to create distortions that play with the senses.
For this workshop, meet artist Alia Bensliman at Art@Bainbridge for an exploration of Ahmed’s work. Afterward, head to the Museum’s Creativity Labs, where Bensliman will guide participants in creating their own hand-woven textiles, encouraging experimentation and play through stretching, bending, and layering to sculpturally transform their creations.
$50 | Registration required | Open to the public (ages 14+)
